Where is my data stored?

Your project files are stored locally on your computer in .redstrings folders. Redstrings has no cloud sync service. Optional Gemini analysis sends the board content you select directly to Google when you run it. The experimental MCP server gives the connected AI client access to your open project. If the client uses a cloud model, it sends any Redstrings information it reads to its model provider.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the app store where you purchased. Contact Microsoft Store or Apple App Store support.

Does Redstrings work offline?

The core board and local project files work offline. Gemini analysis, web links, store purchases, and purchase restoration require an internet connection when you use them. MCP uses a local bridge, but a connected client that uses a cloud model also requires an internet connection and sends the Redstrings information it reads to its model provider.
